Distribute water to students in need
Who are we?
We are a group of students at the Islamic University of Madinah who, since 2024, have been distributing cartons of water to students in need.
These are students who are facing significant financial hardship, for whom even something as basic as drinking water is not a given. In Madinah, tap water is not drinkable, which means students must purchase their water. At the same time, many of them send the majority of their monthly scholarship to their families back home, out of care and responsibility.
What may seem ordinary to us can be a daily concern for them. Through this project, we provide an essential basic need and help ease part of their burden. The images of the distributions speak for themselves.
The distributions take place on a weekly basis. The initiative is entirely organized and carried out by students themselves.
